University Level Teams
In the University Level of participation, college/university-aged students from around the world can compete at Destination ImagiNation Global Finals Tournament, to be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.DI Team Challenge
Prior to Global Finals, a University Level (UL) team may select one of the Destination ImagiNation (DI) Team Challenges and prepare a solution. The team will present the solution and participate in an Instant Challenge at Global Finals. In some Affiliates, UL teams may also have an opportunity to present their Team Challenge solutions at Regional or Affiliate Tournaments. UL teams presenting Team Challenge solutions may also register for the DI eXtreme competition.
Eligibility
Who is Eligible to take part at the University Level (UL)? All members of UL teams must be currently enrolled full-time students from a college, university, trade or technical school, or the equivalent in the military. High school seniors who are bound for higher education (college, university, trade school, military) are also eligible. Teams may be comprised of students from different colleges, universities, trade, and/or technical schools. When registering for a membership, UL teams must select a team name and identify one Affiliate to which they will “belong” for registration purposes.
More than one Team Challenge?
YES! University Level (UL) teams MAY choose to solve and present more than one Team Challenge at Global Finals, including the Improvisational Challenge.
