Published Clarifications
#1. September 25, 2009
As stated on page 13 of the Rules of the Road, #3: The projectOUTREACH Challenge option is only available to participants meeting the grade or age level requirements for Middle, Secondary or University Level.
#2. October 14, 2009
As stated in the Rules of the Road, page 29, MSDS Sheet, 8.b, the use of any potentially harmful or destructive material is not allowed at any Tournament. Spraying a commercial spray paint or any aerosol-propelled paint is not allowed in any Tournament building or Challenge Site because of harmful fumes and the potential 'drifting' of the paint in the air. As stated in the Rules of the Road, page 27, Safety #5, teams must be sure to check with their Regional and/or Affiliate Director to see whether there are Site-Specific Restrictions for any materials they plan to use at the Tournament venue.

The last sentence of B.1.b should read: These official Project Data Forms can be found online in the Resource Area of www.IDODI.org.
#4. January 8, 2010
On the Tournament Data Form the Required Paperwork should also list the Expense Report. It is required that teams complete an Expense Report that lists the materials used in the Tournament, which includes the Presentation and the Album.
#5. January 13, 2010
The following paperwork is required and must be provided by you at each Tournament in which you compete:
Five copies of the completed one-page Tournament Data Form that is found at the end of the Challenge. This form may not be used as a scoring item.
Two copies of the completed Declaration of Independence. Blank copies of this form can be found in the Rules of the Road. One copy of this form is for Team Challenge, the other copy of this is for you to take to Instant Challenge.
One copy of the completed Expense Report. This form can be found in the Rules of the Road. Be sure to bring copies of your receipts in case you are asked for them, but it is not necessary to attach them to the form.
Team Identification Sign: This will tell the Appraisers and the audience who you are. It must list your Team Name, Team Number, School/Organization (if different from Team Name), and Level. It cannot be scored. See the Rules of the Road for more information. used in the Tournament, which includes the Presentation and the Album.
